Hi,

I’m glad you’re here.

There is more to your story than diet and exercise. And there is more to mine than a list of credentials.

I’ve spent over two decades walking alongside people in some of the hardest seasons of their lives — and what I’ve learned is this: real change doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in the context of our relationships, our history, and our sense of who we are.

There’s more to your story.

You’ve tried diet after diet, only to watch the weight come back.

You’ve been told to “just eat less and move more” — as if it were that simple.

You wonder why this feels so much harder for you than it seems for everyone else.

You may be carrying emotional weight that no one around you can see — weight that has nothing to do with what you eat.

You don’t have to figure this out alone. I’m here.

My Approach

I believe bariatric surgery and significant weight loss are life-changing events that touch every part of who you are — not just your body.

Family and friends may begin to see you differently. Your own self-image may shift in ways you didn’t expect. Old emotions may surface. Relationships may change. The person you’re becoming may feel unfamiliar — even to yourself.

My role is to give you a space to process all of it. Together, we’ll work through the emotional, relational, and behavioral changes that come with transformation — so that your healing goes deeper than the scale.

I believe you deserve to feel worthy at every stage of this journey, and at every size.

My Story

My passion for this work didn’t begin in a classroom. It began in my own life.

Like many of my clients, I have lived the cycle of weight loss and weight regain. I’ve felt the frustration of doing “everything right” and still struggling. I’ve wrestled with the questions that don’t have easy answers — questions about identity, self-worth, and what it means to feel at home in your own body.

As I began to understand my own relationship with weight, food, and self-image, something shifted. I realized that the emotional and relational roots of our struggles with weight run far deeper than most people — and most programs — ever address.

That realization changed the direction of my work.
