Most evaluations take approximately 60 to 90 minutes. That time is yours — a chance to talk openly, ask questions, and make sure you feel as comfortable and informed as possible before moving forward.
Is the appointment virtual?
Yes. All evaluations are conducted virtually — secure, confidential, and available from the comfort of your own home. No waiting rooms, no commute, just an honest and supportive conversation.
Will my insurance cover the evaluation?
Coverage for counseling and evaluations varies by plan. A quick call to your insurance provider can help clarify your benefits before we meet. If you’re unsure where to start, reach out, I’m happy to help guide you through the process.
What if I have a mental health diagnosis?
Having a mental health diagnosis does not automatically stand in your way. In fact, acknowledging your struggles takes courage — and it’s exactly the kind of honesty that helps us build the right support plan for you. The evaluation is a conversation, not a disqualifier.
Is this a pass or fail process?
Absolutely not. The evaluation is not a test with right or wrong answers. It’s a collaborative conversation designed to understand where you are, identify what support would help most, and set you up for the greatest possible success going forward.

Evaluations are never about passing or failing — and that fear is more common than you might think.
